2024 has been an exciting year for NOVA, filled with many highlights. Christmas is just around the corner, and it’s time to enjoy the festive season and recharge for the year ahead.

Our latest event in NOVA House Stockholm was a Personalization After Work with speakers from Infunnel, Epinova AB, NOVA and guest speaker from MarLaw Law Firm. With over a hundred guests it was a hugely successful evening with many new insights regarding personalization and privacy issues.
Last week, the Christmas spirit truly arrived at NOVA House Oslo when Epinova hosted its traditional Christmas breakfast seminar, featuring choral singing by NSKI Høyskole and case presentations on the digital solutions for Fretex, DNV, and Bitastad.

Trine Røssel Ødegaard is the new Country Manager for NOVA Norway
Looking ahead Nova Consulting Group has ambitious growth plans for the future. Trine Røssel Ødegaard has been appointed to the newly established position of Country Manager for NOVA Norway. Trine brings with her extensive leadership experience and will strengthen our Norwegian organization's professional and growth ambitions.

During 2024, we've worked on numerous exciting projects for our clients. We have selected a handful for you here:
Novacare has partnered with NOR-WAY Bussekspress over many years to help simplify their customer journeys. A new website, travel planner, service portal and realtime preview will make the users experience seamless and easy and strengthening the brand of NOR-WAY Bussekspress.
Rocket has worked with a wide range of clients, including Matprat, DNV, Codex, Outland, Thon and TV 2. The collaboration with TV 2 delivered strong results, earning two gold and two silver awards at the Global Search Awards for our efforts to improve sales and reduce costs through paid search and SEO for TV 2 Play. We also supported Matprat in achieving an all-time high on their KPIs during their largest marketing campaigns.
Northern Beat is making great progress together with Epinova in building a solid foundation for the new avinor.no, utilizing design and content to meet ambitious KPI’s and create a solution that strengthens one of Norway's most visible brands. The collaboration with NAV continues and it’s gratifying to have contributed to winning this year's User-Friendliness Award and to support their important societal mission. Our work with Strawberry is also worth mentioning, focusing on optimizing internal workflows through design methodology.
Egde has actively worked with artificial intelligence (AI) and become AI partners for major clients in finance and insurance, transportation, aviation and municipalities, including through AgderKI, a public-private sandbox initiative for AI collaboration between Digi Agder, Kristiansand municipality and Egde, where we have taken a national leadership role. The initiative provides a secure and innovative environment where the public sector and businesses can learn, explore and develop AI technologies together.
Point Taken successfully addressed Norsk Rikstoto's customer service challenges with a robust Dynamics 365 solution, including implementing a call center, enhancing efficiency and case management. Additionally, we integrated Compliance to ensure secure interactions without sharing sensitive information. The new system has significantly improved collaboration, customer experience, and case management. Watch the video of the case here.

Dekode has achieved great success with its NGO strategy and has taken a significant step forward this year launching Fundy – a purpose-built SaaS service for managing donations. Fundy is based on many years of experience in design and technology for NGOs, brought together in a single solution that makes donating to a good cause seamless, secure and robust – especially during the holiday rush! Today, Fundy handles thousands of donations every week. Among our signed clients are Kirkens Bymisjon and Kreftforeningen.
Epinova’s highlights include new integrations for Granngården, a unified platform for the Olav Thon Group consolidating multiple sites and both B2B and B2C online stores plus an intranet for Rørkjøp. Epinova also relaunched Trondheim Kommune’s websites, delivered user-friendly sites for VENI Energy Group and migrated Norwegian Air Shuttle’s Optimizely solution to the cloud, spanning five websites in 13 languages. Epinova has also welcomed exciting new clients, including the Research Council of Norway, Avinor, Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget), KIWA, NITO and Kystverket. Worth mentioning, Epinova was honored as Optimizely Partner of the Year in the Nordics and Norway — a distinction they have now earned for the ninth time.
On the Swedish market, Epinova AB has reached the prestigious level of Optimizely Platinum Solution Partner and was awarded the Optimizely One Partner of the Year. They have also launched a number of exciting projects, including Forex’s new website for all the Nordic markets. Worth mentioning also is Coor’s digital transformation, where Epinova helped launch thirteen new websites focusing on sustainability and accessibility.
Cloud Nine has also had a great year with some very exciting projects and recently launched their partnership with Skansen in Stockholm for a brand-new e-commerce site and intranet.
Our digital marketing firm Pineberry has had a busy year, which became apparent at the Swedish SEO-prize where they won with four clients in their respective categories: Hyresgästföreningen (Social impact and charity), Edblad & Co (Fashion), Bilprovningen (Automotive), and Gratislandet (Small companies).
Finally, Singular Studios recently launched their series of live panel discussions in December with Nadia Abouda from Forefront and Andrew O’Sullivan from Electronic Arts as guests. Our own Tobias Brandt moderated the discussion, which was a great success, and we are looking forward to the next installment of the series.
